Why I Built This
I'm a dad of four boys, and every single one of them is obsessed with space. Rocket launches, astronauts, missions to Mars — if it involves anything beyond our atmosphere, they're glued to it.
Watching a rocket launch together as a family is genuinely one of the most incredible things you can experience. The engineering, the precision, the sheer power of it — it's staggering when you stop and think about what it actually takes to get something off this planet.
I wanted a place where my boys could track launches, watch them together, learn about the missions, and have fun doing it — all in one spot, safe for kids of all ages. I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so I decided to build it myself.
Full transparency: this is my first website. Ever.
I've learned a lot along the way, and my sons have been my best testers and harshest critics. They've shaped almost every feature on this site. If something wasn't fun or easy enough for them, it got changed.
There may be a glitch here or there — we're a work in progress and proud of it. But we actively fix issues as they come up, and we're always improving based on real feedback from real families.
